FEES

Registered Psychologist - $205.00 per scheduled 50 min session

If you have gained a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from a GP under the Australian federal government's Better Access initiative, you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session for your sessions, up to annual session limits.  As of 1st January 2026, Medicare rebates for mental health sessions are capped at a maximum of 10 individual sessions and 10 group sessions per calendar year.

• If engaging via MHTP, there is a remaining out-of-pocket gap fee of $106.05 per session

• Privately funded fee is $205 per session

• Full payment is required at end of each appointment by EFTPOS (1.1% surcharge)

• $106.05 late notice cancellation fee applies if within 24 hours of scheduled appointment & for non-attendance

• Bulk billing is not available at Southcoast Psychology

• Consultation fees subject to review biannually on 1st January & 1st July each year
